I previously loved going for a run. A knee injury and multi-year difficult time at work contributed to reduced capability and motivation for running for, well, far too long. For reasons unknown, perhaps thanks to lockdowns, I’ve started to jog again, and enjoy it. I’m not fast, but it’s good for me, mentally and physically. I’ve started participating in weekend Parkruns and enjoy the social interaction and support of friends to get faster. A cadence-coordinated playlist inspires running on my own during the week, to increase stride length and aid motivation, especially to make it up those inclines a little faster. It’s good to download these rather than using the higher carbon streaming option, but here are the links to my favourite songs, as a playlist, to listen to while running. The first is a warm up and several have a running theme.
